J-Luv Da Prince is an artist who has been amusing his audience since 2012 and has released 6 singles and 3 EPs, out of which the third EP was recently released. His listeners love him for his amazing flows that are fresh out of the oven every single time. He is an artist who is versatile enough to take you to the highest of the highs and the lowest of the lows in a single track. His delivery and his musicality is what makes him so special! I recently discovered this artist through his latest release which is an EP named ‘Come 2 Terms’ and is one of the best EPs I have come across this year. He has a theme attached to the EP which is magical. This is something that I will leave out for you to discover. Just know that this guy paints vivid pictures through his tracks and each word he uses has it’s own importance. This is surely the kind of rap I love and cherish.
The first track on the EP is named ‘Right Here’ which is packed with energy, musicality, lyricism and some elite flows. The track has some ecstatic drums that will blow your mind away. The hook is catchy and has been running on my mind ever since I came across it! J-Luv Da Prince is the guy who fuses core rapping with melodies and yet keeps up his originality with his innovations. This is an artist who flows like a river on the beat.
The second track of the EP is named ‘Ahead’ sounds great yet felt like the vocals were getting a bit ahead of the beat at the chorus. The verse is so powerful and written so beautifully that it carries the instrumental with grace. This is the track that has some deep meaningful things that can become an anthem for many. This is the track that the masses can relate to!
The last track on the EP is named after the EP itself and is named ‘Come 2 Terms’. This is the best track on the EP according to me and this surely left me begging for more. The track has some bouncy melodies and this artist kills each and every beat with his razor-sharp bars. This is the main takeaway of the EP and the track that will surely break the charts once people start appreciating this legends works.
The artist has done a great job in creating an EP that seems like a whole movie. The lyricism is so elite that it gets you to think deeply about your life. He is the artist that has shown me light in allot of terms just through his EP.
