Todd James recently released his latest EP which is oddly therapeutic. The EP contains 5 songs which god deep into the feelings of the Gen-Z and Millennials. The EP is named ‘Revival’ and like the name suggests is a perfect therapy for anyone who feels lost.
Track One- The first track of the EP is a collaborative song with Tz Baby and is called ‘One More Time’. The song goes deep into the suicidal feelings and shows a way to overcome it beautifully. The little hint of heavy metal with the growl adlibs takes this track a step ahead of other hip-hop tracks. The song is an eye opener for several listeners including myself. This track is the intro of the EP and is one of the best starts of the EP I’ve ever listened to. The track is equally sound lyrically and melodically. The string pluck melodies sooth the ears while the razor-sharp lyrics pierce deep into the skin.
Track Two- The second track of the EP is ‘Wanna Know’ which is one of the most powerful tracks of the EP. The lyrics are deep and effective. The drum rolls are innovative and something that this game has never seen. The vocal engineering is elite and makes this track whole. The chorus is catchy and latches on to your mind instantly. The song is one of its kind. This track is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Track Three- The third track of the EP ‘Stay Strong’, is my personal favorites and is going to stay on my playlist for years. The melodic feel to the song creates a whole different vibe. The soothing music is perfectly complimented by the smooth flow and deep lyrics. The song has allot of surprise musical elements which will leave you spellbound. The song is bound to make you move your head with each beat feeling elevated.
Track Four- ‘Falling Apart’ is the third track and this track takes this EP to whole another level. The EP portrays the versatility of the artist through each track. The artist picks up a whole different flow and still kills it. The perfect mixture of melodic and blunt flows is what makes this track special. The track has hypnotic music which bewitches the mind.
Track Five- The last track and the outro of the EP is ‘Inhale’ which is the perfect end we all have been craving for. The artist surely packs allot of power into his tracks perfectly intertwined with his music and lyrics. This track has got some seriously deep bars which can change lives of millions.
