Bones in Butter is an amazing band alt-rock band from Serbia. It consists of 6 wonderful, experienced, and talented musicians. The musical project is an ambition of Milutin Krašević who leads the band. The other five members are Luna Škopelja on vocals and samples, Todor Živković on guitars, Dejan Škopelja on bass, Tom Fedja Franklin on drums, and Srdjan Popov on mixing.
Bones in Butter are establishing themselves with their creative lyrics, writing, and powerful music. They have released several singles and an album in 2020 and are back with yet another masterpiece called “Down but Not Out”. Let’s talk about the song and its ingredients in detail. The song starts with a wobbling atmospheric pad followed by a simple drum beat that has a lot of 80s vibe. An electric guitar comes in with a lead and builds up a melody. Soon the vocals kick in with a mellow touch with an amazing melody. The vocals are layered are presented in a very interesting manner. The song lifts up in the chorus with drums and guitars. With changes in chords and a lead guitar, the instrumental part after the chorus is extraordinary. The song has this amazing vintage and classical vibe with the way it is structured and constructed. It follows the same pattern throughout till the end and abruptly concludes with a beautiful guitar solo.
