Pages – So Wrong So Right | Pure Talent

Pages is an exceptional trio/band from the beautiful city of Aberdeen, Scotland. They are an alternative pop-rock trio and are not new to the Scottish music scene. Blending their amazing stage presence and charm with the catchiest guitar hooks, fancy synths, and sounds inspired by 80s music, “Pages” have created their own unique sound. Pages are heavily inspired by some modern alt/pop bands like Artic Monkeys, Royal Blood, and The Killers. Blending their inspirations and ideas, we get some amazing songs by the frontman Matt Frasers on vocals, guitar, and keys, backing him is the lead guitarist Alistair McKinlay and drummer Jack Lovie.

Pages have released several singles in the past couple of years, all of which are a hit. They are back with yet another song with the vintage vibe and modern pop/rock song called “So Wrong So Right”.

Talking about the song in detail. The song starts with some gentle chords on pads and a catchy bassline. After a few bars, a catchy guitar riff kicks with the bass drum on every count. Soon heavily reverbed vocals of Matt come in, his vocals have a charm, an aura, his voice’s beauty perfectly suits the song. The song lifts in the pre-chorus with the main guitar riff and transforms after the drop into the chorus. The chorus is so catchy, with the hook “So Wrong So Right”.  The song is so brilliant and sounds so amazing with details like the guitar solo before the last chorus and harmonized vocals.

“So Wrong So Right” is purely a headbanging song with a catchy hook and amazing guitar work. Pages have done an amazing job and their fans are just not ready for this song. It is true work of art and talent and is highly recommended to listen to it once.
