“Let It Grown” is a classic rock and roll song. it starts with a funky guitar riff and some clap sound effect. Soon a deep and layered vocals of Dash kicks in with a very loud bassline. Few more instruments add up in layers, making everything sound so rich and colorful. It clearly has a major “The Beatles” vibe. “Let It Grown” is so funky and groovy, it can make anyone move their feet and dance.
Another masterpiece on the Ep is called “Library Fair”. The song is far more than a masterpiece, it is a reward, a reward for the lovers of music and their search of finding a perfect song that stays with them all their life. “Library Fair” is that song, it shares an emotion with its subtle breeze of jazz. It starts with a soundscape of what seems to be a fair, which is followed by a smooth classic guitar and pad. Soon the soft and melodic vocals of Dash begin with a deep lower octave harmony. A sweet melody on piano follows and lifts the song. There are some very complicated chords involved in the song. After the chorus, the song lifts up with all the instruments making it deeper and more joyous. This is a song that reminds you of the rainy season and the wonderful cold breeze. “Library Fair” is song you cannot miss to listen to.
Dash Hammerstein is a genius, his mastery in composing and designing the sound gives his song such high quality. The whole Ep is just phenomenal and highly recommended to listen to it once.
