Liberate Yourself with Danil’s Synth Pop Track ‘Ok With Me’

Danil is a star. He loves a vibrant spread and has dedicated his discography to find ways of liberating pop. His influences are timeless, ranging from 80s disco, funk, electronica, and synthwave to contemporary pop cultures. So there’ll be a little of this and a little of that. Frames that you recognise, elevated with moments of creativity and consciousness. Danil has just released his latest EP, titled ‘Ok With Me’.

It is a sublime collection of five tracks that explore themes like identity, sexuality, and self-acceptance. It is all formed around the idea of finding oneself, despite the dogmatic notions and conventional boundaries of society. It is about pushing past it all, taking the harder path, and being liberated by self-actualization. Along with moments of revelation is rebellion. All in all, a great collection that will appeal to anyone who is embarking on finding themselves.

The title track pretty much sums it up, ‘I don’t need you to be okay with me, so mind your own business and let me be, this is my liberation.’ Daniel’s vocals are a blend of song and declaration and sweeping around this affirming pedestal is an anthemic whirl of colorful melodies, anthemic beats, and celebratory textures.
