Rivermind Drop “Nevermind” Ahead of Debut EP

Rivermind, an upcoming Swiss alternative rock band, drop their second single Nevermind. The band pushes a sound built on heavy distortion, dreamy guitars, and strong basslines. Formed through basement jams, they draw influences from Foo Fighters and Muse. Their third single Nightlight arrives in April, leading into their self-titled debut EP in June 2026.

Nevermind opens with a heavy bass that drags you straight into the track. “No matter what the people say I know I lead my rhythm…astray, but I say nevermind gonna find…nevermind rivermind,” the vocals overlap, crashing into each other, like echoes bouncing around a room.

It feels like a house party track, the kind playing while something unfolds in real time, and the song almost acts like commentary on it. You’re watching it happen while the sound keeps up with it. The harmonies come in during the chorus, and the pace picks up with them.

The vocals stay mostly in a breathy head voice, slightly distorted, a little hazy in places, and that texture sticks through the track. As it builds, everything starts speeding up, like a last sprint toward the finish line. The song sits in overthinking, the weight of expectation, and that constant internal push to move past anxious thoughts, but never fully getting out of it.
