Heroes + Legends moves like a charged vision, pulling you into motion before you can resist it. Initially, the track drifts in with a hazy, dream-pop softness, almost weightless. Then, vintage synths snap into focus, dragging you through a time-warped pulse where rhythm feels physical and unavoidable. Meanwhile, the beat locks in with steady insistence, keeping your body tethered as your mind starts to float. An incredible video, with powerful visuals accompanied this release, which you can see attached below:
Whether it is historical references or the trippy psychedelic layers, Omnesia creates a visually rich, melodically relevant tune for a movement that is important and deserves a lot more attention.
The refrain, “Do you find me queer? like a violation?” doesn’t sing so much as confront—it exposes the violence of being questioned at all. And, instead of melody, the vocal delivery recites with a haunted, domineering calm, turning the line into provocation rather than plea. Moreover, the bassline presses low and warm, grounding the track while tension simmers just beneath the surface. Consequently, the song feels like a fever dream, lucid, disorienting, and defiant all at once.

As the song unfolds, the lyrics sharpen their purpose. “We freaks are heroes and legends, standing our ground till the hatred ends,” lands as both declaration and survival mantra. However, Omnesia never frames resistance as spectacle. Rather, they let repetition and pressure do the work. Finally, Heroes + Legends plays like a confrontation you can’t look away from. It frames queer existence as resistance—being seen, refusing shame, and turning survival into strength.
