Canadian singer-songwriter Stephanie Braganza is known for her powerful live performances and her message-driven themes reflecting personal and social compassion. Moreover, she earned a Toronto Independent Music Award for Best Live Artist and also contributed to the Guinness World Record for the “World’s Longest Concert,” in 2017. Until We Meet Again opens with soft acoustic guitar, simple and warm, letting the vocals carry the weight. The lyrics immediately feel personal. Lines like, “Those eyes looked through my soul” and “Your smile made me whole” convey pure adoration. While the melody’s softness mirrors the tenderness of these feelings. Consequently, the listener is drawn into this moment of connection.
As the song progresses, the ache of absence seeps in. “I wake up hoping you’re near, but that time has disappeared” and “What will I be without you?” carry grief in a gentle, lingering way. The unhurried rhythm complements this by allowing the emotions to linger without overwhelming. Furthermore, the chorus,“I will bite my lip, I will take that step, until we meet again,” feels like someone holding themselves together, but barely. The melody supports this balance by rising just enough to emphasize emotional peaks while staying restrained.

Because the arrangement is bare, every small inflection matters. The warm tone of the guitar and the slight quiver in the voice together paint a bittersweet landscape: grief wrapped in memory, sorrow brushed with tenderness. And yet, there’s hope threading through, creating a comforting yet wistful feeling. Finally, Until We Meet Again, written as a letter of love and grief, speaks to anyone who has experienced the pain of losing someone they deeply cared for.
