Where We Belong carries the feeling of going back to school after the kind of summer you already know you’ll spend years thinking about. You’re walking through loud hallways again, bags hitting lockers, the air buzzing with the start of something new, but part of you is still stuck in those summer nights that disappeared too quickly. That’s exactly the kind of feeling this track taps into.
Meanwhile the guitars come in bright and energetic while the bass keeps everything pushing forward without slowing down. The drums feel restless in the best way, constantly driving the song ahead like it doesn’t want to stop moving. Also, there’s distortion in the guitars, but it never feels too heavy. It sounds big, emotional, and easy to sing along to.

Then, “my world begins and ends with her… don’t go away, stay with me,” sits at the center of the track and carries all of its emotion. The lyrics talk about someone who completely changed your world and made everything feel brighter just by being there. Finally, Where We Belong keeps reaching toward that person, trying to hold onto them and believing that no matter how difficult things become, where they truly belong is still together.
