North Carolina artist Niva continues building her atmospheric electronic and dance sound with “Midnight Run,” released on February 7, 2026. Driven by deep club rhythms, steady late-night energy, and bright pop vocals, the track leans fully into modern EDM textures. A second vocal-focused version was also released on May 3, 2026.

“Run with me, let it run… midnight callin’ on the run… let the night just pull me in,” is how the track opens. It sounds like standing in front of your mirror getting ready to go out, fixing your hair in the mirror while your friends yell at each other to hurry up, clothes thrown everywhere, and somebody yelling that the cab is already outside.
The whole song moves with this shiny restless energy. The pop elements make everything feel bright and immediate while the electronic production injects a constant rush into the track. It sounds like silver glitter stuck to sweaty skin. Then, the lyric, “Chasin’ every pulse until the feeling’s done,” sounds like giving yourself completely to the night and refusing to think about tomorrow until the sun starts coming up.

As the track rushes toward its climax, the percussion and guitar solo cut through everything before the song suddenly strips itself back for a quieter vocal moment before throwing itself forward again. Midnight Run packs people into a crowded disco club at 1 A.M., spins lights across faces, spills drinks over dancing hands, and keeps everybody moving like they never want the night to end.

Figuring out my path while actively plotting ten others. Serious about my dreams with somewhat chaotic ambition. Will do anything for cats.
