The Lars Pagelsen Trio is a jazz trio from Frankfurt am Main, Germany, featuring pianist Lars Pagelsen, bassist Alisa Pou Montz, and drummer Felix Lothwesen. Their latest single, “Don’t You Cry,” leads their 2024 four-track EP of the same name, capturing their tight, expressive jazz sound.

Gradually, a hazy bassline and intoxicating piano melody rise together, wrapping the track in warmth and quiet reassurance. The trio leans into restraint, letting small shifts in tone and tempo speak louder than any grand flourish.
