After years of playing and recording with other artists, Max Padron is putting his own instincts first. His 3:03 single maXima traXion is a heavy, guitar-driven introduction to that solo chapter, carrying the confidence of someone who already knows exactly how he wants it to sound.
Speaking to Sinusoidal Music, Padron says it began with a riff that inspired him to start recording his own music. The title carries that momentum too: getting traction for a new direction, “at maximum force and see what happens next.”

Heavy by Choice
Musically, maXima traXion wastes little time getting there. A thick opening riff establishes its hard-rock weight, backed by driving drums and gritty Spanish vocals. The guitars stay firmly at the front, moving between chunky rhythm work and sharper lead passages that bring speed and bite. There is plenty of technical muscle here, but it never feels like technique for its own sake; the playing keeps feeding the song’s forward momentum.
Padron recorded the guitars through real amps, pairing a Les Paul with a ’90s Dual Rectifier. “The sound…is beast-like,” he says. “I’m proud of how the track sounds.”

The harder part was maintaining consistency and “pushing every step” through the process. Writing his own lyrics and melody, however, became one of its highlights: “I’m so happy the way it turned out.”
His experience across rock, pop and Latin music has also clarified what he wants from his own work. “The success of a project lies in its authenticity,” Padron says. “It’s heavy because that’s the music that moves me.”
His Name, His Rules
Releasing under his own name brings “the freedom—and the responsibility.” Padron jokes that he is now the artist, label, manager, creative director and marketing team, while building the right team around him.
Ultimately, maXima traXion sounds like Padron choosing his own lane. His idea of creative risk today sums it up best: “Trusting that what I’m putting out is as authentic as possible.”
