About the Artist
UK, Brighton-based singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Zoe Konez is set to release her debut album Everything’s Fine on June 12, 2026. After years of independently writing, recording and producing her own work, Konez channels a period of personal upheaval into an intimate folk record built around fingerpicked guitar, layered harmonies, and self-reflection. Previously based in South London, she has developed a reputation for her distinctive guitar style, DIY approach, and emotionally direct songwriting.

The Album
Paragon, an anticipated track, opens the album on gentle piano notes that feel like walking towards a valley at dusk. Then it gathers pace and becomes a gentle gallop towards the sunset, carried by a steady acoustic guitar rhythm. The lyrics arrive only midway through: “Thinking about the outside world, crumbling…to become a consequence, paragon.” Everything about it feels cinematic.
Then, This Utopia sounds ancient and sacred, like music echoing through an underwater cave lit only by glow worms clinging to the walls. The acoustics slowly bring it back to earth, grounding all that wonder with a simple invitation: “I wanna meet everybody, let’s go out into the world today.” Released in May 2026 as the final teaser single before the album’s launch, Nudge is stripped-back and weightless. It drifts by quietly, finding meaning in the small signs that appear when you’re close to losing your way.
After that, We Have To floats in on gentle acoustics and deep, airy vocals like a cool evening breeze. It carries the feeling of standing amongst the pieces after everything has fallen apart, knowing there is nothing left to do except begin again. Somehow, that thought becomes comforting. Following that, Friend Like That contains some of the album’s most affecting moments. “I’ll meet you at the staircase by the station…I wish I had a friend like that.” The song feels like waiting in a familiar place for someone who slowly stopped showing up. Around you, life continues as normal but the absence doesn’t.

Afterward, Intimate, opens on barely-there hums and soft acoustics. The vocals feel almost whispered into your ear. “How many times nearly almost giving in…we’ll be much closer than we allow ourselves.” It lingers in the space between what is felt and what is said. Closing the album is Yeah I Know, originally released as a single in 2024. Light as feathers, it circles around the fear of losing someone you love. Rather than sinking into that anxiety, the song gently loosens its grip, turning worry into reassurance and vulnerability into comfort.
While this is only a brief glimpse of what Everything’s Fine has to offer, these tracks spend their time among station platforms, empty rooms, uncertain horizons, and lives beginning to change shape. They sit with drifting friendships, breakups, and the unsettling realisation that a life you’ve carefully built may no longer fit. Yet the album never feels defeated. Beneath its gentle acoustics and quiet reflections is a constant sense of movement, as though each song is looking towards the horizon and finding another reason to keep going.
Zoe Konez’s full-length studio album arrives on 12 June across all streaming platforms, and there is clearly much more waiting to be discovered, so don’t miss it!
