About the Artist
Krey Galin, an independent artist from Recife, Brazil, blends rap, melody, and rhythm into a fluid sound shaped by Hip-Hop, R&B, and Afrobeat influences. Growing up around music and learning multiple instruments early on, he now channels that into Neon Lights, his five-track EDM EP released on March 30, 2026.

The EP
Neon Lights, the original version, opens the EP in all its synth-pop glory built around the sensory overload and high energy of nightlife. The track feels glossy and bright without losing its pulse. It’s the kind of song that instantly makes you want to snap your fingers, run your hands through your hair, and move.
Next, ネオンライト, this version leans into city electronic Japanese city pop. It feels futuristic in that neon-soaked Tokyo-at-midnight kind of way. This version is jumpier and more fast-paced, carrying this restless momentum that keeps your shoulders moving the entire time. The synths bounce around the track while still sounding sleek and controlled.
After that, Luzes de Néon shifts things into something moodier and more immersive. The groove here feels like a dance floor where everything moves slower and more in motion. There’s a sultry warmth to it, almost like someone pressing their hands against your skin while the bass keeps pulsing underneath. It feels intimate without losing the rhythm-heavy core of the EP.

Then comes 霓虹灯, which pulls from the growing electronic scenes in central Chinese cities. This version opens soft and airy, almost weightless at first. It leans more lo-fi and dreamy, but never sleepy. The track feels like walking alone through a massive city at night while everything around you glows.
Lastly, Luces de Neón closes things out with a grittier edge. The vocals sound rougher, more worn down, but also more honest because of it. The neon lights stop feeling decorative here and start feeling necessary, like the only thing guiding you through the dark.
What makes Neon Lights work so well is how every version feels like the same night seen through different cities, different emotions, and different states of loneliness. The EP keeps changing languages and textures, but the feeling underneath stays the same. It feels restless, sweaty, emotional, like wandering through barely alive glowing streets at 3 a.m. with nowhere to be but not wanting the night to end either.

Figuring out my path while actively plotting ten others. Serious about my dreams with somewhat chaotic ambition. Will do anything for cats.
