blue pablo is an Albuquerque-based artist working with a hazy, introspective sound that blends cinematic pop with dream pop elements. Their latest single laundromats in the night time, released April 3, 2026, explores detachment through routine, shaped by unsteady, immersive production alongside Mateo Gutierrez.

“LED’s losing colour,” the opening lyrics paint a scene out of the night and the life that lives on when the world sleeps. At first, everything feels dimmed, like the glow around you is slowly draining out instead of lighting the way.
Then follows that hazy feeling that you aren’t real, “I’m crashing into the night…I lost all my identity.” It sits at the core of the track and the vocals carry that feeling; they’re breathy, a bit hazy, and they overlap in a way that makes it hard to tell where one line ends and another begins. This song feels like walking the streets at night, noticing things you’d never catch in daylight. But also like walking along a beach in the dark, feeling small and slightly unreal, staring out into nothing while the moonlight barely holds the scene together.

The image of laundromats at night lingers the most. You can almost see the fluorescent lights flickering inside, machines spinning endlessly, clothes tumbling in circles with nowhere to go. In that way, it feels like routine without presence, motion without meaning.
laundromats in the night time becomes something for people who don’t feel real sometimes, who move through spaces without fully being in them. It stands under weak light, watching everything continue without it.

Figuring out my path while actively plotting ten others. Serious about my dreams with somewhat chaotic ambition. Will do anything for cats.
