Egregious Beats Brings Euphoric Energy to “A Good Time”

Egregious Beats, the electronic project of Trevor Ouellette, returns with A Good Time, an EDM single. Released on March 27, 2026, alongside an EP featuring an extended version, the track blends melodic house, trance, techno, and deep house turning it into a rhythm-driven sound.

A Good Time sounds exactly like pulling up with your friends to the first club of the night. Even before the doors open, the bass already shakes through the walls and spills out onto the street, letting you know the night has only just started. Then the doors are swinging open and bathing you in the energy of the night.

Right from the beginning, the beat keeps pushing forward without slowing down, carrying that rush you get when the night finally starts feeling real. Midway through, the lyrics, “lost in my head, can’t find a way to change it… when the sun goes down and the lights go out, the curtains rise and it’s showtime,” feel like somebody escaping their thoughts the second nightlife takes over, turning the dance floor into a place where nothing else matters for a while.

As the climax builds, the track completely gives itself over to the rhythm. It sounds like finally letting go at the club, fully sinking into the music, the lights, and the pulse of the crowd. And by the end, the promise of “A Good Time” genuinely feels fulfilled.
