Polyphia have announced their fifth studio album, BE NOT AFRAID, which is going to be released on October 23, 2026, through Rise Records. The record follows 2022’s Remember That You Will Die and marks the band’s first full-length release in four years.
The announcement follows Polyphia’s return with CAN YOU FEEL IT, their first new single in four years. The track had already played around Donington Park during Download Festival before the band released it.
Polyphia wrote BE NOT AFRAID during 2024 and 2025 while working in Miami, Los Angeles, and Dallas. The band also worked with co-producer RJ Pasin and guitarist Spiro Dussias during the writing process.
For this album, the group changed their way of composing songs. Tim Henson began by singing musical ideas aloud before translating them to guitar. The band also spent more time creating together in the same room. Scott LePage said previous records often started with members coming up with ideas and developing them separately before sharing them. This time, they focused on building ideas together from the start.
Henson described BE NOT AFRAID as a deeply meaningful record. He said the music moves between two intense moods. Some parts sound uplifting and victorious, while others feel dark, tense, and frightening. The album grew from conversations about disturbing subjects and the sense of powerlessness that can come from facing them.
Polyphia turned those ideas into creative inspiration. The band focused on making something beautiful, even when the music moved in unexpected directions.
Alongside the album news, Polyphia released a new single, Power In The Blood. The band also shared a music video filmed at São Francisco da Penitência Church in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Its Baroque setting gives the video a dramatic visual style.
Polyphia will also tour through North America, Europe, and the UK in 2026. The schedule begins in Dallas on September 5 and ends at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on December 16.
