San Diego-based singer-songwriter Lark released her debut single Residue on September 1, 2026. Produced by Abbey Loren, the track blends indie-pop with atmospheric indie-folk, built around delicate acoustic guitar, fiddle sweeps, and synth textures. It focuses on an almost-relationship, about what happens when something never becomes real but still leaves a mark. The single introduces Lark’s intimate songwriting through her vivid lyrics and a bittersweet look at memory, romance, and the stories we create around people who didn’t stay.
