Little Fuss – Dear Aria | Serene

With their fresh tunes coming out of Boston, Little Fuss appears to be one of the artists promising to rapidly climb up the acoustic folk charts. The two-piece band returns to their discography following some well-received live performances across the maps, now back with their latest single Dear Aria.

From the first listen, the track promises the acoustic folk autumn extravaganza of the genre – as the vocal performances usher in a sense of tranquil solace coupled with the drawing of the introspective synth waves, mellow brass instrumentation and electronic guitar arpeggios. The track is decked together with a downtempo trap beat that underlies the instrumentation. Thematically, the track borders on a neo-pop outline and posits early Taylor Swift-esque intonations.

The utilization of various layers of tones sucks individuals into smooth yet sweet and let-free energy. In spite of the extreme songs, Little Fuss’ remarkable vocals offer a sense of cathartic pleasure to the listener. As the melody advances, the track gradually suffocates the audience into the tune and allows them to encounter the bittersweet soundscape that is made. With the combination of narrative indie pop, the track engulfs its audience members into the track’s sonic cavities.
