A very busy year for Irish singing-songwriting group KinetiX already, the trio update their discography with the release of their latest track Off My Head. Having previously teased and released two singles earlier in the year — Clear to you and isaidhey, the group of three brothers stock up another number for their listeners.
Spanning for a period of three minutes, Off My Head is characteristically an anthemic electronic pop number, branching out to mildly explore other genre territories like alternative rock and ushering a relatively newer wave of electronic dance music. Easily recognizable and made for the crowds, Off My Head is a track for the outdoors to be played to unite masses to sway to the electronic groove.
The soundscape created by the arrangement is oddly reminiscent of the early 2017 hype around groups like Imagine Dragons, whose popularly acclaimed music came to both inspire and popularise groups championing a certain sound of electronic pop music. Groups like KinetiX build adequately onto that discussion, surely igniting the sound along the way.
