Singles ahoy everywhere in the discography of Pedro Samp as he reinvents and outperforms himself once again, now with the release of his latest track. Returning from some of his previous singles such as Strawberry Champagne, Playboy and Kites, the singer-songwriter and music producer updates his discography with his fresh number Sunkissed.
Loved and listened to for his minute decorative arrangement, the track follows characteristic sampling similar to genres such as alternative pop, alternative rock and an acute sense of the folktronica revival. The three minute track is defined by its heavy drum and bass backbone coupled with the weighty and somewhat crunchy percussive elements. The occasional overdriven electric guitar riffs scattered across the track offer the arrangement a sense of ascendance and cinematic soundscape.
The baritone vocals of Pedro Samp do well to offer a sense of modern fixture between the traditional acoustic folksy vocalism and electronic folk, ushering in almost a unique sound to his own music. Several singles already under his belt, the singer-songwriter’s navigation across his mastery of multiple genres is a sonic movement beautiful to observe.
