Jane’s Addiction Set to Make UK Comeback at Bearded Theory Festival 2024

Jane’s Addiction Returns to UK Stage After 8 Years to Headline Bearded Theory Festival

On the brink of an eight-year hiatus from the UK stage, rock band Jane’s Addiction has excited fans with news of their long-awaited return. The original lineup, comprising Perry Farrell, Eric Avery, and Stephen Perkins, is set to headline the Bearded Theory Festival at Derbyshire’s Catton Park from May 23rd to 26th, 2024. Fans are excited to see if Dave Navarro joins the rest of the crew again on 6 string duties.

Expressing their anticipation, Jane’s Addiction conveyed their excitement to reconnect with their UK fanbase, labeling the forthcoming Bearded Theory appearance as a not-to-be-missed event. The exclusive UK performance marks their first show on British soil since their 2016 performance of ‘Ritual de lo Habitual’ in London.

Alternative giants Jane’s Addiction will headline Bearded Theory alongside Amyl and the Sniffers

With their last album release dating back to 2011 (The Great Escape Artist), Jane’s Addiction has been relatively quiet on the new music front, save for the unveiling of the track ‘True Love‘ earlier this year in California. Notably, frontman Perry Farrell has been actively collaborating, most recently contributing his vocals to ‘So Trendy,’ a song by fellow Bearded Theory headliners, Sleaford Mods.

Festival organiser Ben Ryles made an official statement after the announcement: “We’re very excited to have two of our favourite alt-rock heroes choosing Bearded Theory as their only UK festival for the year.

“We also can’t wait to welcome Amyl and the Sniffers and Future Islands who are both so widely renowned for their incredible live shows, as well as festival favourites Sleaford Mods and electronic icons Orbital.”

Ryles continued: “Across this first batch of almost 50 acts there are fast-rising artists at the forefront of their scenes, legendary performers, and plenty of Bearded Theory crowd-pleasers, we’re really pleased to finally reveal them and get the countdown on to the start of the festival season!”

As fans eagerly await their return, Jane’s Addiction’s revival promises an unforgettable performance, adding another significant chapter to their enduring legacy in the rock music landscape.
