Infamous Rapper Tekashi 6IX9INE Beaten Bloody by Unidentified Assailants in Florida

A gang of men are accused of attacking Tekashi 6ix9ine on Tuesday inside a South Florida gym. As a result of the incident, the infamous American rapper had to be rushed to the hospital. A video of the incident has also surfaced on social media.

Tekashi 6ix9ine was jumped by several males while using a sauna at a LA Fitness, according to the rapper’s lawyer, Lance Lazzaro, who spoke to TMZ. He was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital after suffering rib, back, and jaw injuries. Before the police arrived, his claimed attackers left the scene.

According to the attorney, Tekashi, born Daniel Hernandez, “had cuts to his face and bruises.” The musician had made an attempt to fight back but was overpowered by the assailants. South Florida cops transported Hernandez to a local hospital and as of this moment, his situation is unclear to the press.

Hernandez, 26, was freed from federal jail in April 2020. According to Lazzaro, he wants to make sure that his client receives some protection. Hernandez was detained in 2019 and given a twenty-four months jail term on nine charges including racketeering, conspiracy to commit murder, drug trafficking, and weapons offences related to his association with the Nine Trey Bloods gang. After assisting federal agents in putting his pals in prison, Hernandez’s prison term was reduced. Additionally, a court referred to the rapper as a “model prisoner,” and he was freed early because of COVID-19 concerns. In recent news, 6ix9ine became a part of a media controversy when he was kicked out of a Miami baseball stadium last Friday, for causing a public disturbance while intoxicated.

Tekashi 6ix9ine, known for his songs like “GOOBA”, “ZAZA”, “GUMMO”, and “BEBE” (all of which are a farce in the name of rap music) could be seen getting beaten in a video that was leaked on Twitter. In the video, one of his attackers is heard saying, “Take a picture… I’m gonna be famous now.” While another video footage shows Hernandez walking out of the gym, soaked in blood.
