Record Store Day 2023 – Lovers of Music All Over the World Gather for Unboxing Ahead of the Event

Owner Harold Lee said that the event is an important event for independent record stores like his. “It’s a day for music lovers to celebrate the culture of independent record stores,” Lee said. “It’s an opportunity for us to showcase our love for music and the unique merchandise we offer, and to encourage people to support local businesses.”

Since its inception in 2007, this particular date has grown in popularity, with more than 1,500 independent record stores in the United States and worldwide now participating in the event. Furthermore, the day celebrates not only the culture of independent record stores but also encourages music lovers to discover and explore new music.
