Rock and roll lost a legend on Friday night. CJ Snare, the powerhouse vocalist and founding member of Firehouse, passed away unexpectedly at his home at the young age of 64.

Firehouse took the 90s by storm with melodic hard rock anthems like “Love of a Lifetime.” CJ Snare’s voice, a chameleon shifting between soaring emotion and a raw, powerful growl, was a defining element of the band. His electrifying stage presence captivated audiences worldwide.

Tributes flooded social media as the music world grappled with the news. Fans and fellow musicians remembered Snare’s immense talent and the infectious energy that fueled every performance.

We’re heartbroken,” wrote the surviving Firehouse members, their voices thick with grief. “CJ wasn’t just a founder, he was our brother.
