Peppa Pig is preparing for her biggest year yet.
The globally beloved preschool icon has announced a major North American tour for 2026 and revealed an unexpected crossover with another children’s entertainment heavyweight: Baby Shark.
The tour, titled My First Concert: A Classical Music Journey, will launch in February 2026. Peppa, still canonically 4 years old, will perform alongside a full live orchestra, with concerts built around music from the television series. The show will also feature theatrical sketches starring Peppa and her family, exploring the history of classical music in a playful, accessible way.
The tour announcement arrives alongside news of Peppa Pig’s first-ever collaboration with another family entertainment brand. Peppa Pig and Baby Shark will release a joint mashup track and animated music video on December 26, 2025. Titled “Baby Shark x Peppa Pig (Dance Remix),” the release marks a global partnership between Hasbro’s Peppa Pig and Pinkfong’s Baby Shark.
The animated video for the children’s pop song will debut on YouTube and follows Peppa and her family as they embark on an underwater adventure, where they meet Baby Shark and his family. The project blends the instantly recognizable theme songs of both franchises into what the companies describe as a new and surprising version.
In a press release, Esra Cafer, senior vice president for global brand strategy and management, fashion, and preschool at Hasbro, described Peppa Pig as “a cultural touchstone for families across generations.” Pinkfong USA CEO Bin Jeong praised Peppa’s involvement in the collaboration, highlighting her contribution to the “special new version of our iconic ‘doo-doo-doo’” as Baby Shark celebrates its 10th anniversary.
The collaboration arrives nearly five years after Peppa Pig’s second album
The sophore record, Peppa’s Adventures: The Album, followed her debut and was later complemented by Peppa’s Club: The Album. Despite consistent popularity, Peppa’s music career has remained largely within the family entertainment space. With a large-scale tour and a high-profile crossover, 2026 could mark a new chapter.
Fan reaction has been swift. One Reddit user summed up the surprise release timing by commenting, “And they said no one was brave enough to drop on Christmas.”
Following the dissolution of Peppa Pig’s former label eOne into MNRK Music Group, questions remain about her future recording arrangements. For now, Peppa Pig appears focused on live performance, orchestral ambition, and a headline-grabbing aquatic duet that is set to dominate children’s playlists worldwide.
