His 2023 single “A Place Called Home” is a classical instrumental track with only two elements keeping us engaged throughout. The strings are played by Archimia strings quartet and the piano by Irene Veneziano and the track is essentially a conversation between these two instruments and artists. The track is produced such that it is possible for the listener to hear and process each individual element and make sense of it on its own and the instruments themselves make space for this compartmentalized understanding. You can hear the piano at times recede to give space such that the strings can shine and the quartet does reciprocate this by occupying the background occasionally. Their interaction is where the magic happens. While seemingly unrelated, their interaction is an example of communication between two forms.

The track is grand and gives the listener a feeling of occupying a vintage classical ballroom straight out of a Bridgerton! While it starts off sombre, it builds up to be ceremonious and celebratory. If you are looking to add classical instrumental music that leaves you feeling majestic and magnificent, I recommend giving “A Place Called Home” by Richard Green featuring talents like Archimia strings quarter and Irene Veneziano a listen!
