G-Sinnz is a music producer and owner of the independent record label, Caricom Music. The North London based artist is influenced by Caribbean music and works towards including genres like Reggaeton, Dancehall and Soca in his compositions. His second single “Como Estas” is an upbeat dance track featuring Colombian artist Hey Haad.

The short track has vocals by Hey Haad layered with electronic effects quite heavily, which allows it to come off as seductive. The Colombian artist gives a sultry vocal performance to the well written melody. The percussion although relatively slow for a dance track, is extremely rhythmic and catchy and does not ever feel heavy. The bass is reverb filled, intense and sets the tone for a single that feels like the combination of Afrobeat and RnB. The synth in the background holds the track together, adding a touch of coherence.

While the beat, synth and vocals make the foundation of “Como Estas” strong, the complexity of the track stems from the layering of different elements. The Ad libs are used liberally and act as percussion at some points. The omnipresent background vocals add ambience and the sound effect like the sound of glass clicking, buttons, people yelling, the sound a computer makes while getting switched on are all interesting to pay attention to.
G-Sinnz keeps it simple and rhythmic on “Como Estas” that has great replay value. If you are looking to a dance track to groove to, the work of G Sinnz will definitely come in handy!
