Alan Wools, a Ukrainian DJ and renowned sound producer, has had an interesting career through electronic music. Starting at 14, he polished his musical skills at a music school specializing in piano. His passion for music production started when he was 16 when he bought a computer and synthesizer. Originally known as Kolabus, he became interested in Breakbeat music.
He co-founded Dub Makers with DJ Muk in 2007, going towards the Minimal style. Their remixes and performances at prominent events such as Godskitchen Urban Wave and Global Gathering won them recognition. Later, under the moniker Alan Wools, he explored techno, making a successful debut with “Unlawfully” on the IAMT label. His talent, hard work ethic, and upbeat personality have drawn him to the electronic music scene, propelling him towards his goals.
Alan Wools, in collaboration with Etonika, has released the “You’re Not Alone- Extended Version,” which is an incredible and surreal musical adventure you hadn’t realized you needed.
The song begins with techno sounds and a repeating and hypnotic bassline, which is soon accompanied by percussion beats and synths. I was absolutely fascinated and sold by the time the beat dropped at 1:47. At this time, sassy female vocals step inside, lifting the song to a new level of delight. I was ecstatically bobbing my head to the enticing rhythm.
