The song is an ode to the protagonist that lies hidden in each of us. It’s about the journey the artist inside each of us faces to bring themselves out in the open. Each within their head, circling a vision of themselves being a success and receiving the accolades they deserve. Yet, life and its challenges always come in between the desires and these desires meeting reality.
It’s a slow hung rhythm that goes apt with Deano’s vocals. The vulnerability and authenticity of the lyrics reflect deeply in his voice. The blending of the melody and emotions in the sound is masterfully credited to Joshua Kern. The production is top-notch.
“Baby you’re riding above, it’s only hesitation that will let you down. Don’t be so confined in the native town, that ain’t just way for you..” Deano’s ‘Airborne’ explores the theme of procrastination, the internal fight to find freedom, and one’s emotive release resonates with every creatively pursuing person. The song is very relatable on a personal level. We eagerly anticipate his next creation.
