Each Track in Artomatico’s New Album ‘Cycles’ Carries Sound as a Ceremony

Artomatico releases their fourth album this December, titled Cycles, or Ciclos in Spanish. Cycles reflect the turning of time again and again, where each return remains unique and quietly transformative. With every cycle, we learn something new, release something old, and begin preparing for what lies ahead. Mistakes, contemplation, and the wisdom gained from moving through repeated patterns shape this learning.

Principle of Hope / Principio de Esperanza: At 02:42, the track feels like standing at a precipice, suspended between tension and release. Sounds accumulate with intensity, carrying angst and the sensation of something rapidly approaching. Eventually, the rhythm finds balance within the chaos. From disorder, the album suggests hope as the lesson, recognizing when and how to restore equilibrium.

Cycles / Ciclos: A primordial rhythm moves through the beats, steadily intensifying as life pushes forward. The pulse throbs with procreative energy, resembling a horse galloping freely across vast, wild moors. At times, the rhythm feels grounded and controlled. At others, speed seems entirely mental. Like all cycles, it inevitably returns to its origin.

Grooves / Surcos: As though the previous track never truly ended, this piece seamlessly continues the cyclical groove. Eastern and Western percussion merge, reflecting today’s collective consciousness shaped by multiple cultural influences. Digital beats intertwine with tabla rhythms. Two halves of the world, and two halves of the human brain, meet in realization. The album reveals balance as its central truth.

Slow Earth / Tierra Lenta: This track stands as my favorite on the album. At 01:14, electronic textures merge with traditional percussion, shifting the listener gently into reality. Two worlds collide and fuse into something new. Something quieter, deeper, and more beautiful than before.

December / Diciembre: Arriving with the shortest daylight, the track ushers in longer periods of darkness and introspection. It creates a space for turning inward. The sound deepens like contemplation. At the album’s center, it symbolizes slowing down and rest. Nature outside mirrors the nature within.

Fog Coat / Abrigo de Niebla: Much like the previous track, this one begins where the earlier ends, continuing the inward descent. Sound spreads softly, enveloping the listener like a quiet offering from Mother Nature herself.

Ignore Flee / Desoír–Huir: After earlier integration, madness begins its dance here. Awareness awakens to what has long been unheard. Movement enters spaces once avoided. Electro mashups blend with female Eastern vocal classical tones, as realizations strike sharply, almost like a scream.

Big Pseudo-Party / Big Pseudofiesta: Magnificanto. The music reflects originality without relying on falsity or theatrical facades. Instead, a restrained and balanced dance unfolds. The artist gently ties together various percussion instruments, and pleasure rises through cohesion rather than excess.

The Tremor / El Tiemblo: Shifting perceptions between idealistic thought and lived truth reveal difference. As reality changes, the ground beneath understanding begins to move. The tremor becomes a symbolic marker of this awakening.

Microsilent / Microsilente: A brief moment of quiet emerges, mirroring how silence appears fleetingly in real life. Inside a 01:35 track, wakefulness arrives, and consciousness meets the soul’s knowing. A microsecond seems just enough.

Big Paideia: The title itself suggests something intimately beautiful and intentional. As the album nears its close, it evokes a sense of holistic upbringing. The music shapes a complete world through lessons drawn from nature’s cycles and past mistakes. It offers knowledge as a gift, ready to transform into wisdom.

Cycles comes full circle through its eleven tracks. As one year ends, another begins. One cycle closes, and another opens. The album reflects contemplation of the past and present while preparing the listener to step forward consciously. Through sound, the album connects mind, body, and soul. It explores life’s many layers with patience and depth, translating experience into learning, and learning into sound. Cycles by Artomatico is now streaming on all music platforms.
