Barcelona born and currently based out of Vancouver, Canada, Jordana Delgado’s new release covers, ‘The Cradle’. As the winter slowly cradles spring into being. Jordana’s latest cover is inspired from this transition, from nothing to new. Jordana Delgado channels her artistic expression and unveils this timeless composition in her captivating piano rendition.
Initially written for organ & drums by Larry Young for his album ‘Heaven on Earth’ in the year 1968. Then again re-arranged by pianist George Winston in the 90’s for his album ‘Forest‘. This album had a huge affect on Jordana’s in the 2000’s. Reflecting on the influence, Jordana made her personal interpretation of her cherished piece. This New Cover is included in her EP ‘Seasons’

An incredibly soulful pianist, George Winston died from cancer last year June, and Delgado’s new cover feels like a perfect tribute. The recording, mixing and mastering of this track has been done by Morgan and Hugh from Akashic Records .

Jordana’s Journey
A graduate from the renowned Liceu Conservatory, Jordana honed piano skills under Miyuki Yamaoka and Tensy Kristman, while embracing cello with Iñaki Etxepare. Her musician parents were the reason for her immersion in the industry. She is a multi-talented, a composer, storyteller, singer song-writer. Jordana also has a Bachelor’s in Psychology and is a Music Therapist.
