Icelandic Post Rock Act Sigur Rós Announce U.S Tour with 41-Piece Orchestral Outfit

Sigur Rós and the 41 piece orchestral outfit – Worldless Music Orchestra have announced the tour dates for September and October.

Last year the band had released their first studio album in a decade – Átta. Sigur Rós had also done a few shows last year with the Wordless Music Orchestra between June and August.

The upcoming tour will see the band, along with the orchestral outfit, bringing Atta and more to life. Only Detroit will witness Sigur Rós with the Detroit Symphony orchestra, making it an excpetion. Robert Ames will be conducting all the shows.

As with last year’s very limited run of orchestral shows, we will be performing songs from our latest album ÁTTA along with many more from our catalogue covering the full expanse of our history,” is what their official website says. See the tour dates below.
