After a two-year hiatus, the Grammy Hall of Fame is celebrating its 50th anniversary with an array of iconic recordings. And among the esteemed inductees for May 2024, Guns N’ Roses’ ground-breaking debut album ‘Appetite for Destruction’ stands tall. Released in 1987, this masterpiece introduced the world to hard rock staples like ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ and ‘Sweet Child ‘O Mine’.
Joining them are legends like The Doobie Brothers with their ‘What a Fool Believes’, and Donna Summer’s hit ‘I Feel Love’. This year, a special member committee meticulously selected ten recordings, which include classics like Lauryn Hill, De La Soul, and Buena Vista Social Club.

The inaugural gala will be produced by industry veteran Ken Ehrlich and features musical direction by Greg Phillinganes. The event is will be held on May 21st, 2024, at the NOVO Theater in Los Angeles.
