Transcending Punk through the Years

‘Cast Out to Sea’ is their resurgence, featuring backing vocals from Brittany Hadley. The track captures closely the time gap between then and now. The journeys each Band members walked through in these four decades; marriage, birth, death, divorces, heartbreak. Swaying in the waves of this sea of life, going up and going down and finding anchor in each other.

The lyrics weave a captivating narrative. A sinuous bass line, angular guitar stabs, and swirling pedal steel backing the vocals’ yearning delivery. Alongside, the slickly edited video complements the new single. It has the band’s performance under roving spotlights, adding a multi-layered visual dimension to the entire feel.

A must mention of producer Daniel Knowles, who has done a magnificent job in shaping the song’s sound, adding layers of depth and texture to the final mix. In an recent interview with The Punk Head, Kelly said that the aim of the Band is to build a community of music enthusiasts who resonate with their unique blend of soundscapes and storytelling.

Stay tuned for more from Chapel of Roses as they continue to make waves and you can find their music in all streaming media.
