From the very first riff, Dan Gober establishes a visceral solidarity with zaniness in his latest single, ‘Stoned Supreme’. With an unapologetic eccentricity, ‘Stoned Supreme’ grinds and roars, and tingles the funky bone. Dan’s very first line, “I swam to the Moon last night”, sets the stage for the dope journey that unfolds in this musical carnival. ‘Stoned Supreme’ by Dan Gober is a modern take on sassiness that weaves a nostalgic rock story.

“So alone and on a flight, in my mind machine. No matter what I do I don’t deserve your blood.” At one minute past twenty-four seconds, the song enters pure love. While the video of the song has the band floating in a black background, it is creating this fun-filled light energy. Guess that’s the duality of life that Gober tries to emphasize through his song. Musically, ‘Stoned Supreme’ is a gorgeous composition. Dan Gober’s vocal style, infused with the choir-like chorus, feels supreme. The interlude with the drums and bass interplay gives the song its nostalgia, a pure bliss.
