‘Her Case’ by Rock Band ‘Talk in Vain’ Restores Faith & Healing

When the soul disconnects from the body, there’s a loss of faith. ‘Her Case’ by Talk in Vain is written and made in layers and left for the listeners to unwrap. In my years of connecting back with spirit, I’ve had a superstition that works wonders. It has been a process to gain back my faith. When a new song comes to me, I believe it holds a message that aligns with my present moment. Talk in Vain’s ‘Her Case’ is my synchronicity with Spirit, just like seeing the number 11:11 on the phone clock.

“He can see that she has lost her faith. The only way in life She knows. Her eyes reveal a story.” To lose faith starts a journey towards gaining it back again. Being on a similar path, it’s been one of the most difficult, harsh experience, yet at the same time the most beautiful. Coming back to faith feels like finally being able to feel the velvety softness of the rose petals after a thorny walk. I know I’m leading this blog astray from a review to a personal diary entry, but that is exactly how the song is reflecting within.

We enter ‘Her Case’ with a strong acoustic strumming, and Talk in Vain’s vocalist Jessica Lindman’s powerful singing. The words strike multiple chords of truth within, rupturing emotions which is aptly expressed through their heavy rock sound.

“Yeah she’s falling down and you’ll never know why, her life is slipping away, she needs to learn to see…” The song unfolds an entire cycle, from the pain of loss to finding the answer on how to find pleasure. This Sweden-based Rock Band Talk in Vain was formed only last year and ‘Her Case’ is their first single. Instrumentalist, music producer Magnis Hellman and Jessica Lindman are a powerhouse duo, whom we are looking forward to hear more.

Ending this review with the last line of the song, “Protect her from all the human touch…hold her soul and heal her in time.” This line has a whole new set of meaning and analogies to me which I will be unraveling in my diary.
