Josh Stanley – Bones | Dance pop

Josh Stanley, a British/German singer-songwriter from Monaco, describes his music as “current pop with urban elements” and “lyrics that represent a young man’s perception of a world obsessed with appearance and money.”  Stanley just released his third single of the year, titled Bones.

Bones has a very contemporary pop/electronic beat with a memorable hook that will have you dancing and singing along almost immediately. Bone displays Stanley’s alter ego that is juxtaposed with the way his lyrics and instrumentals complement each other. The song has a combination of pop and hip-hop elements that gel together very well. The song shows a very stereotypical version of Monaco’s multiple playboy residents that Josh finds his alter-ego delving into. I could totally see Bones on a playlist with artists like Ramz, Lil Uzi Vert and Aminé.

After studying at Berklee College of Music, Josh Stanley went onto write songs at Wisseloord Studio. Following the success of his self released singles She Buys Her Men, Sass Café, Rich Boy, Swish & What If reaching over 3.5 million streams. Stanley is also known for his hit house-pop single, Start Again featuring DJ Tom Enzy. With this track record, Josh Stanley is on his way to success.

Bones is an excellent addition to his discography, and it looks like he’s on the right way forward – towards making more grooves you can pop out moves to. Don’t miss out on Bones by Josh Stanley and remember to add it to your dance party playlists!
