Fairly little is known about who Ado Drix is partly because he is new to the music scene but one could also assume that he likes to keep the airy of mystery around him alive. The rapper’s third single “Boss Bitches” emits hip-hop’s most gangster energy!

The keys on the track are hypnotic and create the feeling that a game is about to begin. The intense ambience along with the bass-heavy percussion sets up a nice base for Ado Drix’s raspy vocal performance. His rapping style and cadence is brilliant and matches the environment of the track perfectly. Thirty seconds into the track he is able to get into a flow that uses the depth and bass tones of his voice. I really enjoyed the incorporation of elements of mumble rap and trap in the pronunciation and thought that the flow switches that were done with ease.

Although the production offers us limited variety, the pauses that it takes to enhance the rapping are clever. The ad-libs that get more frequent towards the end of the track add texture while the bass and clap-like percussion are interesting elements to notice. I found the hook to be extremely catchy, repeating itself in my head while the track takes its own sweet time to wind down.
Ado Drix says “This is for em boss bitches” rapping this song like an homage. Lyrically the track explores “boss bitches” as evident from the title, her characteristics, power and the way she uses it. She is on top of her money, financially affluent, has game and is looking for a man who is no less. The fur coat and high heels on money on the cover art brings hyper-feminine, hyper affluent energy and visually represents the lyrical themes quite accurately. A lot of writing in hip-hop is by men and about women, this track is one of the most respectful ways I have seen it done.
