She chose to put the onus of her success, her light, on the audience. “As I prayed with all my might, then to my disbelief, the people began to sing my songs out loud. Encouraging me to reign on through”. The honesty with which the artist writes the song truly makes it resonate. She faces the shadows of fear and doubt with courage and love for the craft, but what stands out is her faith in her faceless audience.
