Eric Clapton has officially announced the return of the Crossroads Guitar Festival for 2026, set to take place September 26–27 at the Moody Center in Austin.
Marking its seventh edition, the festival celebrates 28 years of the Crossroads Centre Antigua The two-day event will feature an all-star lineup of guitar icons including John Mayer, Gary Clark Jr., Buddy Guy, and Joe Bonamassa, alongside debut appearances from Trey Anastasio and Pete Townshend. Clapton himself will perform on both nights, continuing the festival’s tradition of collaborative, genre-spanning performances.
Returning as exclusive retail partner, Guitar Center will host an immersive on-site experience featuring major brands like Fender and Gibson, plus a rare showcase of historic instruments; including Clapton’s “Blackie” Stratocaster and Stevie Ray Vaughan’s iconic “Lenny.”
“We are thrilled to welcome the legendary Eric Clapton and his Crossroads Guitar Festival to Moody Center. Out of the more than 380 concerts we’ve hosted since opening in 2022, this is poised to be one of the most iconic events ever to take place in our arena. It represents the very best of live music-bringing together world-class artists, passionate fans, and an unforgettable atmosphere right here in the Live Music Capital of the World,” said Michael Owens, SVP of Entertainment for Moody Center
Tickets go on sale April 3, with proceeds supporting addiction recovery initiatives through the Crossroads Centre.
