Tool front man Maynard James Keenan is training Mike Tyson to fight Youtuber-turned-singer Jake Paul! Yes, you read that right. The same guy who recently released a live album with an ugly cover, combining material from his other projects – A Perfect Circle, Puscifier and Failiure. We came to know That Keenan is also a Jenga enthusiast as we saw him playing the game on stage while Tool performed. Little did we know Keenan has been into Brazillian jiu-jitsu as well!
Keenan also runs his jiu-jitsu school, Verde Valley BJJ, in Cottonwood, AZ. This is where boxing legend Mike Tyson has apparently been training. No doubt why he is “bragging” about training the 57 year old former WBA, WBC and IBF belt holder. Moreover, he earned his black belt earlier this year with moves that he believes “could have saved Chris Rock from being slapped to death”.

Keenan also recently shared a couple of photos with Tyson with the following caption: “Honored to have @miketyson grace our small town academy, @verdevalleybjj . His Training Camp for @jakepaul vs @miketyson began under our roof. Gonna be bragging about that for a bit. Long after y’all are tired of hearing about it. Deal w it.”
AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX, will host the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson live boxing event on July 20th. Netflix will cover the event. This is the third time they have streamed a sports event live.
