The Strokes Confirm 2026 Tour Spanning North America, Japan, and Europe

The Reality Awaits The World tour will begin with in North America with a few dates in the month of June and then the band will then travel to Japan. Over there The Strokes will perform at large-scale events, including Summer Sonic. After Japan, the band is going to return to the United States for a short span of time for some additional shows at the West Coast and some festival appearances. They will end the tour in October with a an arena gig in Europe.

Many artists are going to join the band on different legs of the tour such as Thundercat, Hamilton Leithauser, Cage the Elephant, and ÖLÜM will support them on select dates. In the European leg, Alex Cameron and Fat White Family are going to be the opening acts.

The Strokes are doing this tour so as to support their upcoming album, Reality Awaits. It is produced by Rick Rubin. This release is going to mark their first album in six years after their 2020 album, The New Abnormal. The band has already released a new single, Going Shopping, to build anticipation. They also performed at Coachella recently, which has given a rise to the excitement around their return.

The tour will include both headline concerts and major festival appearances. These festivals will include Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, and Summer Sonic. The band will perform in major cities across all regions and reach large audiences.
