British alt-pop artist Luvcat is set to release a special concert film this weekend, giving fans a chance to revisit one of her most intimate live performances.
Halloween plans just got a little more twisted for Luvcat fans!
Shot during her show at The Box in Soho, the murder-ballad-inspired film will be available on YouTube for just 48 hours. It goes live at 6 PM on October 31, making it a limited Halloween treat for fans who enjoy their pop music with a darker edge.
Luvcat Celebrates One Year of Vicious Delicious With a Limited-Edition Release and Halloween Concert Film
The announcement also comes as Luvcat celebrates the first anniversary of her debut album, Vicious Delicious. To mark the occasion, the singer is preparing a special anniversary edition of the record. The release will feature a vinyl pressing, a signed tartan obi strip and a 16-page booklet packed with previously unseen photographs from the album’s making.
Earlier this year, Luvcat continued building her dark musical universe with the release of her Love Bites EP, giving listeners another taste of her theatrical approach to alternative pop.
Speaking about her experience at The Box, Luvcat recalled a night that sounds straight out of one of her own songs.
“The last time I was in The Box, it was a fever dream. Delightful and disturbing,” she said, before sharing a rather bizarre memory of waking up at 6 AM, dancing on a tabletop with someone she believed might have been the Prince of Spain or France.
With a limited viewing window and a Halloween release date, the upcoming film should make for an interesting watch. Fans can catch Luvcat’s concert film on YouTube from 6 PM on October 31, but they’ll only have 48 hours to do so.
