The lyrics have a nonchalant personality in contrast to the risky business of emotions that the song sings about. The track oozes with anticipation of pure carnal desires with friends. Wether to consume this pleasure cake and suffer or not consume and suffer is a dichotomy.

Lyrics that say, “I’m standing in your doorway wondering whether to leave. I keep my thoughts close, seeing what this could be… When we’re unsure, when we want more, what are friends for?” This flirty number is an instant foot tapper with addictive composition. The cherry on top of the cake is Chan’s powerful voice. His soul without a doubt carries the throbbing baritone of the yesteryear’s groovy Pop numbers.
