‘I Come from Far’ has a fun animation video, which is vibrant and beautiful, just like the track itself. This one is a love song, whose lyrics reach out to the beloved. Just like the old fairy tales where the knight arrives on a dark horse, the video similarly portrays the protagonist as a rescuer who comes from far. An unexpected symbolism struck me as I listened to the song and watched the video. Is what we call as. ‘the dark night of the soul’ that arrives to raise our consciousness and remove the shadows blocking our light, synonymous with the ‘Dark Knight’ rescuer? Something to ponder on.

What I love about Dean Sheng’s music in ‘Sid’ is his versatility with genres. Each track is a surprise. ‘Undecided Love’ is undoubtedly one of the most romantic songs I have heard. So being a die-hard romantic at heart, this one is definitely going to be played on loop and into my favourites playlist. With lovely lyrics, written directly from the heart, the song connects deeply. ‘Undecided Love’ also comes with a video that is abstract and very real.
