This alt-rock experimental new track is definitely one of the most evocatively protrusive numbers of this year. The poetry written by IGOR shreds apart the makeshift masks that humans wear to ignore real talk. At the same time, IGOR’s ‘Talk To Me’ reminds me of the infamous ‘Sympathy For The Devil’. The line where he sings, “show me your sympathy,” feels parallel with The Rolling Stones’ “Have some sympathy”. Unlike The Rolling Stone, which signifies ‘Devil’ as the coincidence of human beings ignoring their shadows. IGOR’s ‘Talk To Me’ humanises the voice of the shadows, asking for it to be brought to light.

IGOR’s lyrics are hardcore and combat the stragulating patriarchal system within each of us with eye-opening reality. Lines like, “Talk to me. Show me your sympathy. Taking it all too far, two souls apart. Give your immunity. Show me it all”, are a dire quest to peel off the rigid masks and be bare. The music is alternative rock, beautifully stirred with pop and indie flavours that make it easy to connect with a larger audience. But honestly, personally, for me, the lyrics are the highlight. I am listening to them on loop and can’t seem to get past it. The song is a heart-burner. Raw, hurting, stripping the veil off.
