Kristy Chmura’s New Single ‘Dream Again’ is a Hymn for Hope

Today, we live in a world where most people are desperate to bridge a gap, although they’re not sure if one exists. This despair manifests itself through materialism, consumerism, capitalism, and also in the traits of anarchy seen in many parts of the world. Many openly claim to have lost their faith in humanity, society, its systems, and even in the divine power. Yet, from the ashes rises the phoenix. Within Kristy Chmura’s upcoming album ‘Inner Solstice’ live the songs of intention, symbolising the rise of the phoenix of hope and courage. Its fourth track, Dream Again, is an epiphany of the light that dwells deep within each of us, reminding us to realise its strength in times like these.

The line, “I jumped right in surrender to the universe,” answers all the difficult questions about existence. Dream Again is lyrically inspiring, and Kristy Chmura sings straight from her heart. Her music feels like the light at the end of the tunnel. The fire of her passionate soul ignites a path of hope in these dark and chaotic times. There’s so much simplicity and innocence in this song that makes you wonder, why did we humans ever become so complex? “To wanna just talk about the weather, argue whose thought is better, I just wanna laugh in the rain!” Musically, the track blends electronic synths with hand-played instruments, creating an indie-pop texture.
