'This Moment', a Compelling Debut Release by Singer-Songwriter Cloudburxt

What I absolutely love about the indie singer-songwriter generation is how alive their songs are. It feels so lucky to be living in a time when so many around the world are singing their soul songs and freeing themselves. Cloudburxt has superseded expectations as a newbie in the line. His single ‘This Moment’ is a glorious debut and looking forward to a full EP/album.

‘This moment’ has a very unique soundscape. Electronic elements have increasingly become a vital component in the evolution of soul music. Coudburxt crafts his music with intricate rhythms, ethereal harmonies along with his emotional voice that resonates on a deep level. The approach to the song gives a very Sigur Rós feel mostly how the song ends, also the cover of the single reminded me of Sigur Rós Varúð (one of my favourites).

Cloudburxt hails from the divine scenic lands of the Alberta foothills in Kananaskis Country, Canada. He is a multi-talented human, along with being a producer, composer, singer, and songwriter and playing multi-instruments, Coudburxt is a yoga teacher, rescue technician, and guide. He also co-runs Film and Forest with his beloved sharing their love for nature and pursuing passions of photography and videography.

Word has it that Cloudburxt wrote this song as a letter to his wife and played it at their wedding. The song is a remembrance to embrace life in every present moment as, “We only got this moment to be free..” Looking forward to a visually enticing video for the song.
